Chairman of Myanmar Tourism Federation signed MoU (Memorandum of Understanding)

on August 5, 2017 at Multi Purpose Hall, MTF.

The aims of signing this MoU are to set out the basis of cooperation for tourism development

between HKMCC and MTF.

 

 

 

 

 

July 25, 2017___Yangon.

The Union Ministry of Health and Sports had announced that outbreaks of H1N1 Swine Flu had been detected in Myanmar with a total of 13 persons infected(1 person from Ayeyarwady Region, 1 person from Yangon Region,1 from Naypyitaw and 10 from Chin State). Regretably 1 fatality had occured at Matupi Township, Chin State.
All infected patients are under strict medical care and although  the 2 persons at Yangon General Hospital are still not out of danger, the patient at New Yangon General Hospital had responded fabourably to treatment. This seasonal pandemic is now carefully monitored with necessary steps taken to contain the spread of the disease.
The Union Minister for Health and Sports, Dr. Myint Htwe, had also convened an emergency meeting at the Ministry at Naypyitaw today(July 24, 2017) to discuss further and effective measures to prevent the spread of the disease. 
At the moment, there are no reports of any international tourists contracting the virus.

 

Myanmar Tourism Federation meets national and international media, reporters and 

representative of associate members of MTF and sub committees to release a news

on "Tourism Updated News".
